Decepticons are the machines that will appear in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen film. They are the foes of Autobots. Decepticons are led by Megatron and they have red coloured optic lenses. They are able to transverse into aircraft, military autos, and construction autos, and are able of turning into small human size objects.

In Transformers 2007 movie, Decepticons are shown very brutal. They take human beings like gadflies or insects. Megatron tosses the human like an insect in the film and calls it “disgusting”. Bonecrusher and Blackout killed humans rapidly in the movie and little Decepticon, Frenzy, also called human beings the ‘stupid insects’. For Decepticons, this universe is nothing but a war and humans’ life does not have any value.

In Transformers 2, you will again see Decepticons, which were present in the previous movie with additional powers and abilities. Below are some of the characters of Decepticons which you will see playing different roles.

Megatron is the chief of Decepticons. “Hugo Weaving” articulates him in this film. He was killed by Sam in the first part and casted into Laurentian Abyss. There are hearsays that in this film he can also transverse into jet and tank. In the film, he will be seen stronger as he has absorbed Allspark fragments.

Starscream is also a powerful Decepticon who can transform into F-22 Raptor. Charlie Adler voices him in the movie. In the previous movie, he flew back into space and in this movie he returns with Cybertronian symbols on his body and commands a new Decepticon army.

Soundwave is there as Megatron’s secret services personnel. Frank Welker articulates him in this film. Soundwave has the abilities to transverse into Cybertronian craft. Welker is also that individual who articulated him in the master cartoon serial. Blackout and Scorponok will both be there in this film. Blackout was killed in the previous film but he has been brought to life. Scorponok was stroked by missiles in the last movie and had wounded his tale, which he repaired.

The Devastator is a big robot who is 46 feet tall. He is formed by combination of seven vehicles and walks in a four-legged fashion very much like Gorilla. Physically he is not able to stand but if he would, you will see him as high as 120 feet. The different vehicles, which form Devastator are Scavenger that forms torso of Devastator along with overload. Hightower; it is a yellow Kobelco CK2500 crawler crane and forms the left arm of Devastator.

Long Haul; this is a green Caterpillar 773B dumper truck that makes the right leg of Devastator. Mixmaster; this is a black and silver Mack concrete mixer truck that moulds into the Devastator’s head. Rampage; this is Caterpillar D9 Bulldozer in yellow colour that moulds in to the Devastator’s left leg. Scrapper; this is a Caterpillar 992 G scoop loader in yellow colour that moulds into the Devastator’s right arm. Overload; it is a red dump truck that forms torso of Devastator. There are other robots like Insecticons, all of them have their own individual potentialities to transform into weapons and cooking appliances etc.

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is a recent movie given by Dream works and Paramount Pictures. The movie is going to be seen this summer in UK on 19th of June 2009, and in USA on 24th June, 2009. This movie is a follow-up of “Transformers 2007″ and has been a focal point of interest for the people in the whole planet.

The movie is directed by Michael Bay who does not want any foreword in the Hollywood Film Industry. He has directed a number of of eminent movies of all time which are, Bad Boys, The Rock, and Armageddon etc. Powerfully he has completed the movie well on time and shaped the animatics of action which were cast off for the earliest film.

The executive producer of the movie, Steven Spielberg, is a renowned director, screenwriter and producer. Steven Spielberg is acknowledged to be the very significant and great persona in the film industry since last four decades and has directed and produced a few of the most thriving movies that were everlasting where he got more than $8.5 billion out of them.

The cast of the movie are Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are two major roles of the movie. Shia killed Megatron in the initial film and will be the main role in the future movie, Transformers 2.

“Transformers 2007″ was a blockbuster and had a great success. This movie was filmed on $150 million budget and earned a lot more on the box office. In USA alone it grossed $320 million and in UK it also broke records. “Transformers 2″ had got $50 million more budget and you would see lot of breathtaking special effects and action.

The movie fans always have some expectations from an upcoming movie. “Transformers 2″ has developed great expectations of being a Mega Movie of the year in peoples’ heart. Surely, there will be people who would have disagreement on this view but overall if you see the success stories of the previous movie, undoubtedly you will give your vote to this movie.

As everyone knows that the previous movie was a hit on the box office and people had developed good expectations for any sequel of the movie, still to prove it with facts we should consider a few things like writer, director, producer, music and effects etc.

We all just have watched the movie preview which proposes fun, irresistible unique effects, a touch of romance, stirring thrilling scenes and action. It is mainly a science invention movie so anything is achievable here with higher technology around.

There are lots of theme parks with lots to do. The aim of this article is to make sure you get the most from your visit.

Choosing the right Theme Park

There are 4 main Theme parks and it depends what you are into as to which one you choose to go to.

Sea World. This one is good for little kids and anyone into dolphins or Polar Bears.

Movie World – For anyone who loves their movies, super heros and film stunts. There’s a few rides here too

DreamWorld. If you love the big thrill rides then this is the place for you.

Wet n Wild The original water park with great flumes and slides

Two more theme parks exist

White Water World. Relatively new to the Gold Coast. This is another water park designed to give Wet n Wild a run for its money.

Outback Spectacular. A show and Aussie Barbeque depicting life in the Outback. Only open in the evenings.

Dream World and White Water World are best if you have teenage kids or are an adult looking for fun.

Sea World, Movie World and Wet n Wild are better if your kids are a bit younger or you really are into your movies or marine life.

Get the Right Ticket

There are two different owners of the parks so it’s best to pick between them to get the best value for money.

You can do Dreamworld and the White Water World together or

You can choose a package that takes in Movie World, Sea World and Wet n Wild.

Consider how long you want to spend in the parks as part of your overall holiday to the Gold Coast. Don’t presume you can quickly get round all 2 or all 3 in a day either. It can be just too much trying to do everything, what with the shows at certain times and of course the queues. Then if you add the likelihood of everyone wanting to do and see different things…..you get the picture?

Before you even leave for your trip, book your tickets on line It will save you lots of time as there is no queuing when you get to the park entrance. You can just use the e-ticket express gates.

Here are a list of the types of passes you can get:

Movie World, Sea World and Wet n Wild

Super pass. A 14 day pass that you can use at all 3 parks. Valid for a year. This is the best value for money if you think you’ll come back within the year. ($189 for adults; $129 for kids) (Kids are classed as being between 4-13 years old)

Fun Pass. Entry to 3 parks for 5 days but you only get one day at each park. Still good though especially if you want to take a break and have a day off from the parks. ($149 for adults; $95.95 for kids)

Escape Pass. Access to 2 parks over 5 days (one day per park) ($119 for adults; $75.95 for kids)

White Water World and Dreamworld

Two Day World Pass $68 for kids and $102 for adults

Two day Family and Friends World Pass (2 adults and 2 kids) $306

One Day World Pass $79 and $57 for kids

The parks are not all close together although Dreamworld and White Water World are pretty close. If you want to do more than one park, go for at least a 2 day pass. If you want to do 3 parks, go for a 3 day pass.

Get the following extra tickets if you are planning on going to Dream World

Early Entry. Book in advance for this gem. It gives you access to the park an hour before everyone else. There’s usually at least two of the big rides available. You may be lucky and get all 5.

Q4U. This system costs $10 plus $5 per person (a family of 4 would cost $30). It’s a bit like a beeper you get in a restaurant. You still have to queue as long as everyone else but you get to leave the queue and wander round the park. Much better than actually standing in line getting hot and bored. You can use if for up to 8 rides and again, numbers are limited so book ahead on line.

Getting from one park to the next

There are buses available that will take you to the parks so you don’t need to hire a car. Surfside Shuttle Buses offer the best service and they have brochures in most key places such as tourist offices, the airport and of course, on their buses.

Theme Parks Main Attractions

Part of the joy of a theme park is discovering the park as you go but if you are trying to cram everything in to a short space of time then PLAN your trip carefully. Work out the times of the shows and the key things you really want to do. If you’re not careful you will run out of time and miss the key attractions.

Sea World

Whilst this park is more about the fish than the rides, there is both here. The key ticket items are

The Polar Bear exhibition, Water Ski Wipe Out Show and the Imagine Show at Dolphin Cove

The Animal Adventures are worth a look but remember to book well in advance. You can swim with a dolphin or scuba dive with a shark.

The best rides here are probably the new Jet Rescue and the Corkscrew Roller Coaster. They both have height restrictions.

Movie World

Your favourite film characters will be wandering the streets so go look for them – Wonder Woman, Bat Man, Shrek and of course some Cartoon Characters

The Must Do items are

Hollywood Stunt Driver where you can see car stunts and lots of action in this 20 minute show Shrek Adventure, which is a 3D Movie (you get to wear those silly glasses) and there’s a few other things that go on to liven your senses including chairs that move. For the younger kids Looney Tunes Musical is a must. It will have them bopping in the aisle and shakin their tale feather. (11.30am daily)

The newest ride is the Batwing Space Shot. A rapid 4.5g vertical launch followed by a 60 meter drop. I hope you are brave enough. The Superman Escape is a more classic roller coaster of a ride and a good adrenalin rush.

Wet n Wild

This park isn’t too big but still has all the flumes and slides that you would expect. It’s good to be able to relax and enjoy the sunshine whilst the kids go off and play. You can still keep an eye on them.

Kamikaze – a ride for two people that reaches speeds of 50km/h with sheer drops and slopes

Tornado – ride on a dingy like tube down a huge flume

Black Hole – the dark just adds more excitement

Mach 5 – lots of twists and turns in the open air

Dreamworld

Looking for the best adrenalin rides?

Claw is like a big ferris wheel whisking you upside down;

Tower of Terror is a very fast roller coaster experience;

Wipe Out is the giant boat that tips you up and over and side to side;

Tower of Terror is a very fast roller coaster;

And Wipe Out is a giant boat that rocks from side to side and more.

Expect to queue well over an hour for these rides. These are the ones to head to first if you have bought the early entry tickets. Or use your Q4U here too.

There’s also Tiger Island where you can see white and gold Bengal Sumatran tigers. There’s lots of other family friendly rides too with the rapids and log flumes being classic favourites for the younger kids.

The Nickelodean area is also popular and in particular the Slime Time Live is amusing.

Don’t forget to bring your swimmers and have a go at the Flowrider. A machine that helps you surf. You’ll get a real feel for what it’s like to surf your own wave.

White Water World

This park offers something for all ages, with lots of slides and flumes.

Towering 20m above the ground, The Green Room is one of the more well known slides.

The Hydro Coaster will blast you 18m in your own rocket dinghy.

The Cave of Waves is a wave pool so much safer than swimming in the sea – no rips or sand banks to worry about. You can take a surf lesson here too. Lessons are 8-10am, three days a week, costing $115.

Other tips for getting the most out of the theme parks

You can take a packed lunch to some of the theme parks to save a bit of cash. Dream World and White Water World won’t allow it though.

Use the lockers to store your belongings but pick a good central location if you will need to keep going back and forth.

Take your mobile phones if you intend to split up and meet back at certain times. Keep each other informed of queue times so that you aren’t leaving half your party waiting and wondering how long you are going to be.

There’s so much more to the Gold Coast than the Theme Parks. Make sure your holiday to the Gold Coast takes in some of the other attractions including the Hinterland (The Green behind the Gold.)

BUMBLEBEE

Bumblebee is an Autobot and it becomes a Volkswagen Beetle. Bumblebee has a burly relationship with the leading actor. Bumblebee has the easiest change mode than every other autobot.

Bumblebee’s character is so adorable that every kid would like to own one. The touch of aggression and the characteristics of being a spy are quite appropriate for its character, as it is comparatively small in size. IRONHIDE

IRONHIDE is an Autobot and it turns into a Red Nissan Van. IronHide has some resemblance to Bumblebee. Bumblebee is loyal to its friend, and Ironhide finds its loyalty on a military mission as a military commander. Many people would like to have IronHide as a friend due its abilities to protect better than others.

Ironhide is Optium Prime’s guard and his advisor. This position can describe some characteristics about IronHide. Ironhide has a cowboy-like attitude, which makes his character even more interesting.

STARSCREAM

STARSCREAM is a Decepticon and it transforms into an F-15 Eagle. As a Jet aircraft, Starscream has extremely inspiring mode of conversion. Its manner is high as decepticon. Every GI Joe collector would like to have it. Starscream considers himself as the most excellent and even better than Megatron. If we forget about the good and the evils, everyone would prefer to have Starscream on its side. The burly voice and attitude makes him even more impressive.

OPTIMUS PRIME

OPTIMUS PRIME is an Autobot and it transforms into a Flat nosed cab over semi-truck. After taking into consideration Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Starscream, the fun stage reduces a bit with owning Optimus Prime. Although, the robust Voice and being the chief of Autobots, Optimus Prime has its own implication. But, as cited earlier the gratification level is not much as evaluated to the other three characters Bumblebee, Ironhide and Starscream. Optimus character’s is bright as a chief.

As the chief of Autobots he is clever, strong, kind hearted, and is affable towards humans. He is measured as the only obstruction by the Depticons, in capturing the planet earth. The tough attributes of being kind hearted is taken as his disadvantage by the Megatron, the resistance leader.

He has taken on the assignment to save planet earth and to save creature lives. He has ordered his team to surrender their own lives in case they have to save one human’s life. Anyway, transformers group is not full without mentioning Optimus Prime.

DEVASTATOR

DEVASTATOR is a Decepticon and it changes into a Made up of six Constructicons. This is a slight thorny because Devastator is made of six character Decepticons prominent as Constructicons. In person, the Constructicons were civilised, but carry the green and purple pieces together that form Devastator. Devastator is a giant Transformer who can be a total and significant destructive force. If you want a strong rival, you would definitely like to put Devastator in their group.

Having the combination abilities, devastator has exciting and burly traits. This persona is getting progressively trendier among kids and Transformer fans.

Like any tech oriented dude, I scoured the internet for the large portion of my evening, searching google for a location to view the new year’s most looked forward to horror flick. So did I find one?

Well, perhaps. Even for the dark, underground circles of movie releasing such things take time.I did find a multitude of sites claiming you could watch The Wolfman online. Am I certain it will? Nope. But what have I got to lose, what the hey! I’ll take one for the team and give it a go.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a sequel of Transformers 2007, the first part. In both the versions, we watch the continuous fight of wicked doings of evil. Transformers 2 is an action packed film with a lot of new theatrical characters. The Decepticons, Autobots, and Humans all work as allies in the proceedings of the story.

The movie is marked with drama, action, suspense, thrill, speculation, tragedy, grief and joy along with strong characterisations and perfection of plot. All the characters project high levels of energies. Just like part 1, we see here the goodies fighting with the evils to protect the world and humanity from the evil clutches.

Surprisingly, we see Megatron once more in Transformers 2. One of the Constructions brings him back to life. He becomes alive in Transformers 2007 also with the help of a small robot: Construction. The differentiating aspects in the story of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is that this time the Decepticons are trying to capture Sam to get bits of information from him about the beginning of the Transformers.

This information came to Sam in the shape of some imaginations that he gets from the remaining pieces of Allspark. Sam is shown attending a college to study astronomy. He is not with his girlfriend Mikaela as she is not able to go to the college due to financial reasons, and is doing a job at a motorcycle workshop. Sam has also got another human helping hand; Leo Spitz. Bumblebee will also be staying apart from Sam, which one can hardly speculate after watching the first part. He can’t go with Sam to the college as any fresher is not allowed to park his car at the college.

The Autobots too have a fragile touch with the coming of a female Autobot Acree. Amongst the Decepticons, a new and very crucial theatrical character enters: the Fallen. It is the Fallen whose name is seen in the title of the film. We will cherish the movie with a series of Construction/ Devastators too.

With an impressive music sequence by Linkin Park, the scenes create imprint an impression. The scenes have been shot at various locations, with Egypt being the most outstanding of all, where the final fight has been shot. Other venues include Bethlehem, Philadelphia, New Mexico, Tuscan International Airport, and Pennsylvania. IMAX cameras are used to film the action sequences of the film, which make it all the more attractive.

Special effects in this movie are worth watching. Real F-16 Fighting Falcon has been used in the movie to make it look more life-like. Tank fire, which we see in the movie are also real. Enhanced designs of the robots have been used to make them look deadly and ferocious. Hasbro has worked quite hard on the designs of the robots, both the Decepticons and the Autobots. This time the filmmakers have dedicated more of the budget to the effects.

The most interesting part of the movie is its battles. For elevated marketing of the film, its premier will be shown in Tokyo, Japan by the 8th of June 2009. After that, the movie will be released in UK and USA.

When it comes to deciding on a screen, the first consideration is the type of screen you want or even may need. If the room where you are setting up your home theater is large, then you will need to have a home theater projection screen or maybe you just want one anyway.

I, personally, like the idea of having a drop-down screen, but sometimes you have to have one even in a modest home theater. It converts your living room into a home theater: you recline in your chair; click a button and a screen drops down; click a button and the lights dim; click another one and the movie begins!

However, if you prefer a television screen, then you might be considering buying a new one. They say that a 27 inch screen is big enough, but I do not think it is. I think you need 48-60 inches, but then I’m a baby-boomer and my eyes are definitely not what they were.

If you are buying a new TV for your home theater, I think you should aim high. HDTV is upon us and since February 2009 the USA is committed to High Definition. So, I would make sure that your new TV is capable of receiving it. Then I suggest that the new home theater screen be a flat one to reduce the annoying glare that could ruin the experience. (This could be another reason for opting for a projection screen).

Then you should ensure that the new television has enough input and output sockets for the equipment you plan to use and youre done. So, to summarize, I would go for:

At minimum a 27 inch screen

A flat screen

HDTV compliant

Enough input and output plugs and sockets

Satellite compatibility

I would definitely get a receiver which is already satellite enabled, because it is the future or even the near future. If you get a satellite TV connection you will have access to HDTV downloads which you can watch on your new home movie theater set-up whenever you want.
